In Europe a couple centuries ago there were many false messiahs. Though two of them Shabbatei Tvi and Jacob Frank garnered significant followings for themselves. Later their followers would merge together. What did they believe? In short, ‘Holiness through sin.’ The spiritual descendants of these movements are sadly found in Liberal Hollywood circles. Many are Jewish. Others non-Jewish.
They have sadly led many astray. They go after the young and induct them. Use them. Then throw them away. Those brave enough to speak out have their careers ruined; or worse.
It would be reassuring if these happenings were not so. Yet they are all too real human testimonies one can hear.
