The Munchausen Syndrome Society

May you have heard of something known as “Munchausen syndrome” . This phenomenon has its background in Baron Munchausen, a novel character loosely based on the German aristocrat Hieronymus Karl Friedrich, Freiherr von Münchhausen (1720–1797). This actual baron became a popular bard in the late 18th century for sharing with those he brought to his home adventures during supposed involvement of his during Russo-Turkish War.

Raspe’s Munchausen would develop a reputation of dishonesty in his day.  German-born writer and con artist Rudolf Erich Raspe ghost published a book (1785). In this tome, which was a writer’s creative liberty edition of “Baron Munchausen”, he tells many ‘expanded upon’ and ridiculous stories about himself.

Understand that our present society has done something akin to this feigning illness of our society with the coronavirus. Believing that everyone is dying or would die without checking out the facts. Going on false or cooked models to make decisions by.

Our present society is being driven by no shortage of hype and hyperbole. Truth has been trampled. Yes people are dying of this particular strain of coronavirus. Yet the tale told is far greater than the infectious agent. We have an unprecedented grand societal feigning over this an illness-phenomenon. This hystery is being used as a delivery device reset to usher in by deceit, a Fourth Industrial Revolution.
